Christ in You the Hope of Glory

The apostle Paul became a minister of the Lord Jesus and was given a revelation that was hidden in the Old Testament dispensation. That mystery was never made clear before the Church age, that was, "Christ in You, the Hope of Glory". The wonderful blessing from God that He would come and dwell in His people. Something else that was revealed was that this mystery was not just for the Jew, but all people were included in this relationship with God. Through Christ's reconsiliation of sinners He would open the door for every tribe tongue and people to enter in to His family. Through the sacrifice of Christ mankind can be brought back into realtionship with their creator.

Reconciled in Christ

This is a most amazing thing that I believe we take for granted as God's people. We were enemies to God aand couldn't care less about Him when He died for us. He first loved us before we loved Him. Why would He die for someone that didn't care about Him? That is God's love twards us. Agape Love.
He also presents us before the Father as righteous 'IN HIM' Of ourselves we are nothing but sin, but IN HIM we are His dear son's and daughter's.
Notice the "If" clause in the next verse. "If indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope..." This is the proof of our sonship in Christ. "Perseverance" Those who are continuing in the faith are demonstrating that they are truely His. All true believers will persever to the end.
